This inexpensive device is a great addition to divert the hot exhaust from the intake!
Great recommendation from the IWA team
Nice Inexpensive Accessory That Performs Well
by William Allen -
Got this to help redirect the exhaust away from the intake and it’s working perfectly. Inexpensive and easy to install (it has a sliding adjustment to allow for different size attachment points). Could have better attachment accessories but just used strong two sided tape to supplement magnet strips included. Works well.
Easy to install- works well
I used several small strong magnets that secured deflector perfectly.
Great idea poor design

I had the same experience as George from Miami. Instead of using double sided tape to secure the deflector I added additional magnets. I went to a big box home improvement store and bought a similar deflector with larger magnets that had better contact area and the concept was delivered. For a thousand percent markup I expected that they selected a deflector that actually worked with the unit (without the need for "in home" engineering).

Had to add a little double sided tape to secure it, the magnets weren’t enough, other than that it’s perfect
This inexpensive device is a great addition. It saves a ton of energy by allowing the hot air to be pushed away from the refrigeration unit, which can then operate more efficiently.
In addition, it took about 10 seconds to install.
Great recommendation from the IWA team.

Works great ... does the job
Another simple but great idea

Installed this deflector with my new cooling unit. Keeps hot air exhaust from mixing with the inlet air, and also allows for minimum spacing back against a wall. Only down side is that it appears to help concentrate exhaust fan noise - oh, the horror. Buy one, you won't be disappointed.
Just added this deflector to my replacement CellarPro cooling unit, and it's doing a great job of moving the warm air away from the air intake. Very easy to attach.
