Compressor Heater (P/N 1727). When the cooling unit is exposed to cold temperatures or sits idle for extended periods, the refrigerant in the compressor can migrate into the crankcase oil. On startup, these conditions can cause a loss of refrigeration efficiency and excessive motor wear. Our factory-installed compressor heater includes an integrated thermostat and maintains operating efficiency while protecting the compressor from damage in temperature conditions below 40F.

Our thermostat regulated compressor heater attaches to the compressor and provides reliable heating during critical cold periods and when the system is idle. The thermostat regulates the heater to reduce energy consumption, yet still provides the necessary heat.

The compressor heater is required when the condenser (rear) side of CellarPro cooling units will be exposed to temperatures below 40F.
