Wine Cabinet Moving Instructions

Le Cache wine cabinets always must be shipped empty of wine and in the upright position.

During transit, it is critical to support the wine cabinet doors from below by placing blocks underneath the doors to prevent the hinges from bending.

Doors can be removed to facilitate moving the wine cabinet. If the doors are removed and transported separately, they should be shipped on their sides to avoid vertical pressure on the glass panes in the doors, and to protect the top and bottom hinge pins from damage.

If the cabinet has crown or base moldings, they should be removed before the cabinet is moved.

The wine cabinet may be tipped forward, backwards or on its side to get through a doorway. However, the wine cabinet never should be pushed or pulled or lifted by its doors, because damage may result to the hinges, door and/or frame of the wine cabinet.
