Bottle Capacity Sizing Table

Le Cache cabinets include finished wood wine racking with 3.75" slots sized to fit large Burgundy and Champagne bottles, as well as standard Bordeaux bottles. Each cabinet model also includes some unracked bulk storage space to stack additional bottles.

Many other cabinet brands inflate their capacities and report bottle totals that could only be stored by jamming a cabinet full and risking breakage. By contrast, we split up racked, bulk, and total bottle capacities to offer a safer and more accurate idea of what you can store.

Total capacity: the number of bottles that the cabinet can comfortably hold (both on the racks and in bulk space).

Racked capacity: the number of bottles that can rest directly inside a cabinet's racked slots.

Bulk capacity: the number of bottles you can stack in the space above the racking.
