Wine Cabinet Sound Hood Installation Instructions
The sound hood is designed to muffle the sound emitted by the airflow from the cooling unit inside all Le Cache wine cabinets that use CellarPro cooling units.
Step 1: The sound hood has an interchangeable vent plate that can be placed at the top or the rear of the sound hood by simply removing four screws. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you place the vent plate in the correct position based on the design of your cabinet, as follows:
Upright Wine Cabinets Without Crown Moldings
The rear vent plate can be located in either position, whichever yields the best sound performance.
Upright Wine Cabinets With Crown Moldings
The rear vent plate must be placed at the rear of the sound hood, so that the hot air exhaust flows upward.
Credenza Wine Cabinets
The rear vent plate must be placed at the top of the sound hood, so that the hot aire exhaust flows out the back of the hood.
Step 2: The sound hood has plastic tabs that can be used as guides to make sure that the hood is placed in the correct position on top of upright cabinets, or screwholes to attach the hood to the back of credenza wine cabinets.
Attach the two screws (provided) into the rear of the cabinet, as follows:
- The first screw should be placed one inch to the left of the opening on the back of the credenza.
- The second screw should be placed one inch to the right of the opening on the back of the credenza.
- The two screws must be exactly 20 inches apart (center-on-center).
Fit the two screwholes in the sound hood over the two screws.
