How to Replace an Erratic Breezaire Control Panel



TOOLS NEEDED:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Pliers

REQUIRED PARTS

  • Replacement Breezaire Control Panel
  1. Unplug the Breezaire from the wall.

  2. Unplug the light from the Breezaire inside the wine cabinet, and also unplug the cord from the light fixture.
  3. Remove the light fixture as follows:
    • Slide the light left or right, and then unscrew and remove one of the two mounting brackets that attach the light fixture to the ceiling of the wine cabinet.
    • Slide the light fixture off the second mounting bracket.


  4. Unscrew the two screws that hold the control panel in place, and remove the control panel from the cooling unit. LEAVE THE WIRES ATTACHED UNTIL STEP #5.

  5. One by one, remove each wire from the back of the old control panel, and affix the wire to the back of the new control panel. Repeat until all the wires have been swapped.

  6. Place the control panel back into the cooling unit, and screw in the two screws. DO NOT PLUG IN THE COOLING UNIT UNTIL AFTER THE CONTROL PANEL HAS BEEN SCREWED INTO THE COOLING UNIT.

  7. Plug into the wall the Breezaire and check to make sure that the new control panel is working properly.

  8. Reattach the light and plug into the cooling unit.

  9. Return the old control panel:
    • Complete our return merchandise authorization and include it in the package with the old control panel.
    • Repackage the old control panel in the same packaging used to ship the new control panel.
