Defrost Cycle

The normal defrost cycle is for the compressor to turn "off" and the evaporator fan to run for 20 minutes every 16 hours.  Please follow the instructions below to change the frequency of the defrost cycle.  On the control panel, press and hold the "SET" and "DOWN ARROW" buttons together for 3 seconds ("HY" will briefly flash).  Release when the display starts blinking. Press and hold (again) the "SET" and "DOWN ARROW" buttons together for 7 seconds ("Pr2" will briefly flash).  Using the "UP ARROW" or "DOWN ARROW" button, scroll through the parameters until "idF" is displayed. Press "SET" and use the "DOWN ARROW" button to change the setting from 16 (default) to 4. Press "SET" to accept the change. After a few seconds, the temperature will return on the display
