Terms and Conditions




Satisfaction Guaranteed

Our goal is to exceed your expectations. If you purchase your wine cabinet from Le Cache, we offer the following satisfaction guarantee:
  1. We will respond to and answer your questions quickly and thoroughly;
  2. We will provide brochures, wood samples* and detailed product information to assist you in your purchase decision - to request information and/or wood samples*, please complete a brochure request;
  3. Our product pricing will be simple, straighforward and easy-to-understand;
  4. We will send to you an order notification that confirms your order immediately after you place your order;
  5. We will ship your in-stock wine cabinet within 3-5 business days from the time you place your order;
  6. If your wine cabinet is not in stock, we will notify you immediately and provide an estimated date of shipment;
  7. We will not charge your credit card until your order is ready to be shipped;
  8. We will send detailed Delivery and Inspection and Order Tracking information once your order is shipped;
  9. If your wine cabinet is damaged during the freight process, we will work with the freight company as your advocate; and
  10. We will follow-up to make sure your wine cabinet arrived safely and is working properly.
*Please remember that our wine cabinets are hand-stained, so wood stain samples can vary.


Cancellation Policy

If you purchase your wine cabinet from Le Cache, you may cancel your order for any reason and receive a full refund provided that your order has not been shipped. If you want to cancel your order, please call Customer Service at 1.877.532.2243. If you purchase your wine cabinet from an authorized dealer, please refer to that dealer's cancellation policy for more information.


Return Policy

If you purchase your wine cabinet from Le Cache and you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days for an exchange, refund or credit. To initiate a return, please call your dealer, or if you purchased your wine cabinet directly from Le Cache, call us at 1.877.532.2243. Merchandise must be returned in new condition and in original packaging with a copy of your receipt. You are responsible for arranging the return shipment of the product. You are responsible for all shipping charges. Unless the wrong item was shipped, shipping charges will not be refunded. If you purchase your wine cabinet from one of our authorized dealers, please refer to that dealer's return policy for more information.

We reserve the right to deny a full refund of the purchase price if the returned wine cabinet is damaged. Products that are returned damaged or without proper packaging materials are subject to a 15% restocking fee plus any cost to repair the wine cabinet.

Available for Immediate Delivery

We generally ship wine cabinets from our northern California warehouse within 3-5 business days of receiving an order. Once shipped, it can take up to 2 to 3 weeks for wine cabinets to be delivered. For orders placed directly through Le Cache, we always include inside delivery (ground floor) and set-up, removal of packaging materials (if desired), and complete insurance coverage when we arrange shipping. For orders placed through a dealer, shipping costs, freight carrier and class of service will be determined by that dealer unless otherwise specified.


Shipping and Handling

For orders placed directly through Le Cache: Shipping costs are charged based on contract rates from third-party freight carriers plus a small handling charge that is intended to cover the cost of processing, handling and packaging your order. We do not attempt to make profits from shipping and handling charges. We consider cost, delivery speed and service, damage rates and claims resolution processes when deciding which freight carrier to use. All of our delivery quotes are for standard shipping and include inside delivery and set-up, removal of packaging, and insurance.

We have contracted with 3rd-party moving companies to transport and deliver our wine cabinets to our customers. Delivery charges generally are calculated based on the state to which the wine cabinet will be shipped. Standard delivery fees include 2 men (3 men for the Models 3800 and 5200), lift gate-equipped truck, inside delivery to 1st floor or any floor accessible to an elevator (within 100' of truck), unpacking, debris removal, and leveling cabinet with a total site time not to exceed 1/2 hour. Additional charges may be required if:
  • You are located outside a regular service area
  • Additional men are required to safely perform delivery services at your location
  • Extra site time is required to provide delivery services to your location
  • Your location has extraordinary delivery conditions - such as stairs, distance to truck greater than 100' or difficult access

Delivery appointments are scheduled with 24 hour telephone notice prior to delivery. If you require a more specific time delivery, or if you require a weekend delivery, additional charges also may apply.

For orders placed through a dealer: Shipping costs, freight carrier and class of service are determined by the dealer unless otherwise specified. Some dealers mark-up shipping and handling charges and/or charge extra for inside delivery and set-up of our wine cabinets.


In the Event of Freight Damage

You are responsible for inspecting both the packaging and your wine cabinet at the time of delivery. In the event the wine cabinet arrives with damage, you must describe the condition of the packaging, the Shockwatch and the wine cabinet in full on the bill of lading. You also must call your dealer or Le Cache BEFORE the delivery men leave the delivery site. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a denied insurance claim and/or billings for nonrefundable freight charges.

In the event of freight damage, the freight company has, at its discretion, the right to repair or replace the damaged item, provided that the wine cabinet is in “as new” condition after the repair.

We have endeavored to photograph and display the colors of our products as accurately as possible. However, our products frequently have variations in color and we cannot guarantee that the images shown on our websites or in our brochures will exactly match the color of your wine cabinet.

Limited Liability
