Martin De Blois
When asked to design the European Country Series for Le Cache, noted furniture and fixture designer Martin de Blois said he "focused on creating a piece that would age well -- a cabinet that would resist the passage of time, combining clean lines, the timeless appeal of woodworking details and technical excellence." Martin was born in Quebec and considers himself "amongst the most European of Americans." His work has garnered many awards, including the 2002 Metropolitan Design Award, and Pinnacle Awards in 2001 and 2002 from the American Society of Furniture Designers.
